ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE A novel water dispersible cold rolling oil composition for aluminum and aluminum-containing alloys comprising (a) one or more lube oil components selected from mineral oils, higher-ratty alcohols, higher fatty esters and higher fatty acids, and (b) a specific water soluble cationic or amphoteric polymer compound. The composition provides a cold rolling lubricant which possesse excellent cooling capability, rolling lubricity and circulation stability, and can be readily controlled in operation.
