ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A cold storage apparatus is provided in which a gas in a cold storage chamber is fed to a cold water spraying cyclone for reduction of temperature, this gas and moisture rich gas being fed to a water droplet removing cyclone to remove water droplets and the resultant low temperature moisture rich gas then being allowed to circulate through the cold storage chamber. This cold storage apparatus permits constant low temperature moisture rich cold storage at a desired temperature, and in which apparatus stable storage of vegetables, fruits, meats and so on can be attained without producing frost and causing drying thereof.
