A method for cold transportation of goods that are placed in a hollow-walled refrigerating container (RC), comprising the following steps: storage of a pumpable solution of tiny ice crystals, known as binary ice, having a given composition and temperature, in a binary ice store (BIST) until said binary ice is used for refrigerating or filling purposes; the optionally filled wall of the refrigerating container (RC) that is to be used is emptied via an outlet valve (BIOV) for the binary ice; the emptied wall of the refrigerated container(RC) is filled with stored binary ice; binary ice is allowed to circulate inside the refrigerating container (RC) via filling instruments that are supplied with binary ice from the binary ice store (BIST) until the temperature of the wall drops to a given temperature, whereby the heated fluid that is discharged from the outlet valve (BIOV) is fed to a binary ice fluid store (BIRL); the wall of the refrigerating container (RC) is filled with a given amount of binary ice; the refrigerating container is decoupled from the filling instruments; the binary fluid that results from the melted binary ice is returned to a corresponding binary fluid store (BIRL) in order to produce new binary ice from said binary fluid.
L'invention concerne un procédé pour le transport frigorifique d'une marchandise placée dans un contenant frigorifique (RC) à paroi creuse, comprenant les étapes suivantes: mettre en réserve une suspension pompable de cristaux minuscules de glace, appelée glace binaire, d'une composition et d'une température prédéterminées, dans un réservoir à glace binaire (BIST), jusqu'à ce qu'elle soit utilisée pour le refroidissement et le remplissage; vidage de la paroi éventuellement remplie d'un contenant frigorifique (RC) à utiliser, par l'intermédiaire d'une soupape de sortie de glace binaire (BIOV); introduction de la glace binaire mise en réserve dans la paroi vidée du contenant frigorifique (RC); mise en circulation de la glace binaire dans le contenant frigorifique (RC), par l'intermédiaire de robinets de remplissage qui sont alimentés par le réservoir à glace binaire (BIST), jusqu'à ce que la température de la paroi baisse jusqu'à une valeur prédéterminée, le fluide réchauffé sortant de la soupape de sortie (BIOV) étant conduit au réservoir à liquide de glace binaire (BIRL); remplissage de la paroi du contenant frigorifique (RC) avec de la glace binaire, jusqu'à un niveau prédéterminé; désaccouplement du contenant frigorifique (RC) des robinets de remplissage; renvoi du liquide de glace binaire résultant de la fonte de la glace binaire dans un réservoir à liquide de glace binaire (BIRL) correspondant, pour une nouvelle production de glace binaire à partir dudit liquide de glace binaire.
