Blends of different types of collagen having different types of cross-linkings, so that the blend comprises cross-linkings of the pyridioline-type(=Pyrid), dihydroxylysinonorleucine-type (=DHLNL) and histidinohydroxylysinonorleusine-type(=HHL) in amounts such that: (Pyrid+DHLNL)/HHL=0.04-6 display excellent properties for use in casings for e.g. meatproducts.
