The invention concerns a non-toxic, biologically compatible collagenic material, biodegradable in less than a month, preferably in less than a week, comprising collagen and at least a macromolecular hydrophilic additive, chemically non-reactive with collagen, said collagen having at least lost its helicoid structure and being cross-linked. The invention also concerns a method for obtaining such a material. The collagenic material is particularly useful for the prevention of post-operative adhesions.
La present invention concerne un materiau collagenique incompatible, non toxique et biodegradable en moins d'un mois de préference en nom d'une semaine. Celui-ci comprend du collagene et au moins un additif hydrophile macromoleculaire, chimiquement non réactif vis-à-vis du collagène, le collagène ayant perdu au moins partiellement sa structure hélicoïdale et étant ré~culé. L'invention concerne également un procédé pour l'obtention d'un tel matériau. Le matériau collagénique selon l'invention trouve une application particulière dans la prévention des adhérences post-opératoires.
