A collapsible animal box (10) which can be conveniently shipped, marketed and discarded in collapsed form, is disclosed. The box (10) may contain animal litter (48) and an animal litter container (34). Preferably, the animal box (10) is constructed from a single cut and scored blank (11) of foldable material. The assembled, fully extended animal box (10) encloses a space sufficiently large to accommodate an animal litter container (34) and at least one animal, and includes a door (27) positioned to permit entry and egress by the animal.
