A collapsible container (10) having a generally cylindrical configuration including at least an upper thicker section (22) and a lower thicker section (26), and at least one thinner section (24) positioned between the upper and lower thicker sections. When the container is collapsed, the upper and lower thicker sections (22, 26) are telescoped within one another and the thinner section (24) is folded therebetween. The container is made of a monolayer of a thermoplastic polymer having a flex modulus of from 60.000 to 160.000 psi (414 MPa to 1,103 MPa) and a heat distortion temperature at 66 psi (455 kPa) of greater than 170 degrees Fahrenheit (77 degrees Celsius). A process for making the collapsible container using extrusion blow molding is also disclosed.
L'invention porte sur un récipient repliable de forme généralement cylindrique comprenant au moins une partie supérieure et une partie inférieure plus épaisses, et au moins une partie plus mince située entre les parties supérieure et inférieure plus épaisses.
