ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a goal net, particularly useful as a childrens play net and having a knock down construction from an in-use to a storage condition. The goal net of the present invention comprises top and bottom frame portions, support members for supporting the top and bottom frame portions and net material wound to both the top and bottom frame portions. The support members are set in an upright position holding the top and bottom frame portions separated from one another when the net is in the use condition and are removable to collapse the net to the storage condition. The top and bottom frame portions are provided with enlarged nodal joints which receive the support members and which trap the net material from inadvertently sliding off of the top and bottom frame portions.
