A collapsible rocking chair has a chair part and a rocking part, the chair part having a plurality of support frame members so as to collapse to a compact bundle and connecting members for being hingedly connected to two or three of the plurality of support frame members. The rocking part includes shoe members for being detachably connected to the connecting members and a pair of rocker members being arcuate and protruding downwardly, the shoe members being fixed to the rocker members.
