A stairway (10) is provided having: at least one platform member (12a, 12b, 12c and 12d); and support means (14) for supporting said at least one platform member (12a, 12b, 12c and 12d) in an orientation suitable for supporting a user's foot; wherein said stairway is collapsible from an in use condition to a storage condition.
