A collapsible stepladder (1) comprising a first and a second ladder leg (2, 3), where the legs (2, 3) are hingedly connected to each other in one end, and where each of the ladder legs (2, 3) comprises several ladder sections (4a- 4e), and where each section (4b-4e) comprises two ladder bars (6, 7) arranged parallelly to each other and interconnected at one end by a rung (8) to form a U-shaped ladder section, furthermore each ladder section (4b-4e) being telescopically inserted into a lower ladder section to form a collapsible ladder comprising at least three ladder sections, where the stepladder is provided with release mechanisms (20, 30) on each of the ladder leg (2, 3) that can be operated from the same side of the stepladder (1).
L'invention concerne une échelle pliable (1) comportant un premier et un deuxième montants d'échelle (2, 3), les montants (2, 3) étant connectés de manière articulée l'un par rapport à l'autre au niveau d'une extrémité, chacun des montants d'échelle (2, 3) comportant plusieurs sections d'échelle (4a-4e), et chaque section (4b-4e) comportant deux barres d'échelle (6, 7) disposées parallèlement l'une par rapport à l'autre et interconnectées à une extrémité par un échelon (8) pour former une section d'échelle en U, chaque section d'échelle (4b-4e) étant par ailleurs insérée de manière télescopique dans une section d'échelle inférieure pour former une échelle pliable comportant au moins trois sections d'échelle, l'échelle étant équipée de mécanismes de libération (20, 30) sur chacun des montants d'échelle (2, 3), pouvant être actionnés du même côté de l'échelle (1).
