Abstract of the Disclosure A collapsible wind and sunshade screen is provided comprising a sheet of flexible sheet material attached to and supported by a collapsible frame. The frame includes a hub, two outer ribs and at least one intermediate rib, with each of the ribs extending radially from the hub and having an axle at an inner end thereof journalled in the hub for pivotal movement of the rib about an axis substantially perpendicular to the portion of the screen sheet adjacent the hub when the screen is erected with the sheet in a stretched condition. The two outer ribs are pivotally movable into an erected position in which they are aligned and are connected to one of the intermediate ribs by releasable fixing means operable to move the ribs into an erected screen position and to hold the ribs against relative pivotal movement to maintain the screen erected. The elongated screen support means extends outwardly from the hub in a direction substantially perpendicular to the portion of the screen sheet adjacent the hub and to both sides of the sheet for retaining the screen in an upright position on the ground and opposing upsetting thereof.
