A collar saver may be used on different styles of shirts with collars. It is comprised of an absorbent fibre composed primarily of wood cellulose fluff which is compressed to a moisture-proof sheet of polyethelene or polypropylene. The backing is easily peeled from the adhesive strip and the article may be fastened to, and unfastened from a variety of shirt collars and shirt cuffs.
