An electromagnetic radiation collecting and condensing optical system includes a plurality of cascaded concave paraboloid reflectors (32a, 32b) and a plurality of electromagnetic radiation or light sources (31a, 31b) which radiate light energy onto the concave reflectors in such a manner that the energy from each source (31a, 31b) is combined by the reflectors into an output target, such as the end of a single core optical fiber (I).
