The invention concerns the use of a collection of traceable cationic compounds for determining ligands of a receptor whose ligand is unknown or whose ligand useful for specific affinity binding studies is unknown, said traceable cationic compounds being characterized in that they comprise at least one basic amino acid residue providing the cationic type to said compound and a tracer group, in particular a fluorophor, a colouring agent or a quencher.

La présente invention concerne l'utilisation d'une collection de composés traçables de type cationique, pour la détermination de ligands d'un récepteur dont on ne connaît pas de ligand ou dont on ne connaît pas de ligand utilisable pour les études de liaison d'affinité spécifique, lesdits composés traçables de type cationique étant caractérisés en ce qu'ils comprennent au moins un résidu d'acide aminé à caractère basique conférant le type cationique audit composé et un groupement traceur, notamment un fluorophore, un colorant ou un "quencher".
