A communications system and protocol for use in a non-dominant bit radio network. The radio network includes transceivers which communicate with other transceivers to allow network variables to be shared by all transceivers. The protocol allows the network to handle collisions between competing transmissions from different transceivers. The protocol also handles communications between transceivers that are out of transmitting range of each other.

L'invention porte sur un système et un protocole de communication pour un réseau radio à bits non dominants. Ce réseau radio comprend des émetteurs-récepteurs qui communiquent avec d'autres émetteurs-récepteurs afin de permettre à des variables de réseau d'être partagées par tous les émetteurs-récepteurs. Ce protocole permet au réseau de gérer les collisions entre les transmissions concurrentes issues de différents émetteurs-récepteurs. Ce protocole gère aussi des communications entre des émetteurs-récepteurs qui sont hors des gammes de transmission des uns et des autres.
