The present invention relates to an improved controlled (preferably delayed) release formulation for delivery of prednisolone sodium metasulphobenzoate. The formulation comprises prednisolone sodium metasulphobenzoate surrounded by a coating comprising glassy amylose, ethyl cellulose and dibutyl sebacate, wherein the ratio of amylose to ethyl cellulose is from (1:3.5) to (1:4.5) and wherein the amylose is corn or maize amylose.
La présente invention a trait à une préparation à libération contrôlée (de préférence retardée) améliorée, permettant d'administrer du prednisolone sodium métasulphobenzoate. La préparation contient du prednisolone sodium métasulphobenzoate recouvert d'un revêtement renfermant de l'amylose vitreuse, de l'éthylcellulose et du sébacate de dibutyle, le rapport amylose / éthylcellulose variant entre 1 : 3,5 et 1 : 4,5, et l'amylose étant de l'amylose de grains de céréales ou de maïs.
