COLOR CORRECTED PHOTOGRAPHIC ELEMENTS Abstract Photographic elements containing at least one silver halide emulsion layer in which there is incorporated a cyan-color forming material having unwanted absroption in the green and blue regions of the visible spectrum can be color corrected to a surprising degree by the incorpora- tion into said element of a colored coupler compound having the structure: Image wherein R2 is an alkyl group containing 1 to 6 carbon atoms, R3 and R4 are independently selected and are alkyl groups containing 2 to 6 carbon atoms, B is a hydrogen atom or a COOR6 group werein R6 is an alkyl group containing 1 to 8 carbon atoms, and A is a sulfonated naphthylazo group selected from those having the structure: (I) Image or - 1 - (II) Image wherein R5 is an alkyl group containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, M and M1 are photographically inactive, M is a monovalent cation, and M1 is a tertiary amine. -1a-
