A color enhancing, lightweight, pin screen (100) has multiple polymeric pins, (108), each having a head (109) at one end and slidably positioned in a corresponding aperture (106)in at least one vertically-oriented plate.(102, 104) The polymeric material may be treated to achieve various visual effects, such as phosphorescence in light, black light designs and multiple colors. Also, the shape of the head (109) can be designed to provide various light displays depending on its shape, i.e., convex, concave, diamond, flat and adding a reflective coating.
L'invention concerne un écran d'épingles (100), de poids léger, à contraste couleur, présentant une pluralité d'épingles polymères (108), dont chacune comporte une tête (109) à une extrémité et positionnée de manière coulissante dans une ouverture (106) appropriée, dans une plaque (102, 104) orientée au moins verticalement. Le matériau polymère peut être traité pour produire différents effets, tel qu'une phosphorescence à la lumière, des motifs de lumière noire et des couleurs multiples. La forme de la tête (109) peut également être conçue de manière à assurer divers affichages lumineux, en fonction de sa forme, c.-à-d. convexe, concave, biconique, plate ou par adjonction d'un revêtement réfléchissant.
