PRODUCTION OF IMAGES Abstract of the Disclosure An image producing system is provided which comprises a carrier material of fabric, paper, a felt or fabric pad impregnated with a colour former solution, comprising a weakly volatile high boiling organic solvent having dis- solved therein a colour former and a colour former de- activating substance, wherein the colour former is an azo compound and a substrate which has incorporated therein or possesses at least one surface which is at least partially coated with a colour former activating substance or system and a re-activating substance which counteracts the de-activating substance.
