ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A color information input system which displays hand written information such as letter or figure etc., by inputting such information to a display unit after such hand written information prepared on the entry area is converted into electrical signal. In order to display the hand written information on the display unit in the same color as the pen being used for entry to the area where plurality of pens in different colors are used for data entry, a pen currently used is detected and its color information is input to the display unit.
