Abstract of the Disclosure Polymers containing a predominance of units of N-(lower alkyl)dimethylglutarimide and essentially free of all units of methacrylic acid or methacrylic anhydride are stabilized against discoloration, both in processing of the polyglutarimide and in heat aging, by inclusion of certain trialkylphosphite or aliphatic bicyclic diphosphite stabilizers.
