A colored contact lens comprising a clear pupil section and a colored, non- opaque iris section surrounding the pupil section. An intermittent pattern is deposited over the iris section using opaque elements which are indiscernible to the ordinary viewer and the inner border of the opaque section is uneven and non-circular. The elements of the pattern are of a shade which provides a contact lens capable of making subtle changes or enhancements to the color of the iris of a light-eyed person while imparting a very natural appearance.
L'invention concerne des lentilles de contact colorées qui comprennent une partie pupille claire et une partie iris coloré non opaque autour de la partie pupille. On dépose un motif intermittent sur la partie iris en utilisant des éléments opaques qui ne peuvent pas être discernés par un observateur ordinaire. La limite interne de la partie opaque est non uniforme et non circulaire. Les éléments sont d'un coloris donnant une lentille de contact capable d'apporter des modifications ou améliorations subtiles à la couleur de l'iris d'une personne qui a les yeux clairs, tout en conférant un très grand naturel.
