COLORED ELECTROSTATIC COATINGS FOR ELECTRIC LAMPS Abstract of the Disclosure Improved coating are provided for electric lamps, which are electrostatically deposited in powder form on the inner surface of the lamp bulb wall. The characteristic light emitted from the electric lamp is predetermined in accordance with the light emission and absorption characteristics of the particulate material employed in the deposited coating. The occurrence of pinholes and discolouration defects is diminished, using powder mixtures comprising light refractive particles, selected light absorption colorant and diatomaceous silica, in a particle size range (Coulter) of 1 to 6 microns and lying in a predetermined range of electrical conductivity.
