A concentrated esmolol formulation is provided that is distinguishable from a diluted form of the concentrated esmolol formulation. The concentrated esmolol formulation can include from about 25 to about 1000 mg/ml of esmolol hydrochloride, a buffering agent and a color additive. Any number of color additives may be included such as indocyanine green, phenopheylene, hemoglobin, cyanocobalamine, patent blue, and indigo carmine vitamin B2 and naturally occurring vitamins and minerals. Also, a medical product is provided that includes a colored concentrated esmolol housed in a container, and a package housing the container and instructions. Additionally a method of allowing easy identification of a concentrated esmolol formulation is provided. The method includes providing a colored concentrated esmolol formulation that has from about 25 to about 1000 mg/ml of esmolol and a color additive.
La présente invention concerne une formulation d'esmolol concentré qui se distingue d'une forme diluée de la formulation d'esmolol concentré. Cette formulation peut comprendre de 25 à environ 1000 mg/ml d'hydrochlorure d'esmolor, un agent tampon et un additif coloré.
