PHN 10.637 10 13.3.1984 ABSTRACT: Colour analyser. A colour analyser for determining the exposure time required for printing colour photographs by means of an enlarger, which analyser comprises a measuring unit (1) in which are located preferably three photoelectric cells (5,6,7), this analyser further being provided with a control unit (2) which is electrically connected to the measuring unit (1) and in which is included an electric circuit (17), by means of which the exposure time is determined. According to the invention, the characteristic values of the colour components blue, green, and red measured by the cells for a test print as electric signals generated by the cells, such as voltages SBO, SGO, and SRO, and the associated exposure time Image are stored in a memory. Subsequently, the exposure time of an arbitrary picture is determined with the aid of the measured signals SB, SG and SR (for the components blue, green, and red, respectively) by means of the formula: t = 3ro/ [(SB/SBC)+(SG/SGo)+(SR/SRO)]
