ABSTRACT: A colour display tube comprising a glass envelope hav- ing a substantially rectangular display window with an upright edge. in the corners, the edge comprises chamber-like recesses and a metal plate is connected in each of these recesses by means of a cement. The metal plates serve as supporting means for the suspension of a colour selection electrode in the display tube.
