-8- ABSTRACT : Colour display tube. In a colour display tube in which an electron gun system (5) with a focusing lens (25, 26) with over- lapping lens fields is used (O.L.F. lens) it is possible to correct said overlapping lens fields by means of at least one field correction plate (35, 36) which extends substantially perpendicularly to the beam axes and has elongate and/or square apertures (38, 39, 40) through which the electron beams pass.
