The technical field of the invention is training ammunition, specifically compounds for colour marking the said ammunition. The marking ammunition according to the invention includes at least one container (12) containing a marking compound (14) and a dispersion explosive charge (16). It is distinctive in that the container (12) is substantially cylindrical, the dispersion explosive charge (16) being located at the centre-line of the container, and in that the marking compound includes at least one pigment in solid colouring powder dispersed in water, the powder being associated with a water-soluble binder and with a rheological charge also soluble in water and designed to cause the pigments to agglomerate and to increase the viscosity of the compound, the compound also containing an antifreeze agent.
Le domaine technique de l'invention est celui des munitions d'exercice et plus particulièrement des compositions de marquage coloré pour de telles munitions. La munition de marquage selon l'invention comprend au moins un conteneur (12) renfermant une composition de marquage (14) et une charge explosive de dispersion (16). Elle est caractérisée en ce que le conteneur (12) est sensiblement cylindrique, la charge explosive de dispersion (16) étant disposée au niveau de l'axe du conteneur et en ce que la composition de marquage comprend au moins un pigment sous forme d'une poudre colorante solide dispersée dans de l'eau, la poudre étant associée à un liant soluble dans l'eau et à une charge rhéologique également soluble dans l'eau et destinée à agglomérer les pigments et à accroître la viscosité de la composition, la composition comprenant également un agent antigel.
