La présente invention concerne une composition renfermant, dans un support acceptable sur le plan physiologique, de l'acide pyrrolidone-5-carboxylique et au moins un composé dérivé de la citrulline, l'arginine et l'asparagine, sous forme racémique ou isomère, et leurs sels, pour la préparation d'un médicament en vue d'une utilisation dans le traitement et/ou la prévention d'une dermite atopique.
