ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A multi-purpose illumination device comprising, in one configuration, a dome lamp for the interior of a pickup truck cab and in another configuration a cargo light for illuminating the cargo box of a pickup truck, is provided. The lamp has an inner casing and an outer casing. The inner casing may be swung into the outer casing to configure the unit as a dome lamp. The inner casing may be swung away from the outer casing to configure the unit as a cargo lamp.
