This invention relates to a combination drug comprising a combination of a tetrazolylalkoxy-dihydrocarbostyril derivative of the formula: wherein R is cycloalkyl, A is lower alkylene, and the bond between 3-and 4-positions of carbostyril nucleus is single bond or double bond, or a salt thereof and Probucol, which is useful for preventing and treating cerebral infarction including acute cerebral infarction and chronic cerebral infarction, arteriosclerosis, renal diseases (e.g. diabetic nephropathy, renal failure, nephritis), and diabetes owing to synergistic superoxide suppressant effects of the combination.
L~invention concerne un médicament combiné comprenant une combinaison d~un dérivé de tétrazolylalcoxy-dihydrocarbostyrile répondant à la formule : dans laquelle R représente un groupe cycloalkyle, A représente un groupe alkylène inférieur et la liaison entre les positions 3- et 4- des noyaux carbostyrile est simple ou double, ou un sel de celui-ci et du Probucol, qui est utile en termes de prévention et de traitement d~un infarctus cérébral, dont des infarctus cérébraux aigu et chronique, l~artériosclérose, des néphropathie (par ex. néphropathie diabétique, insuffisance rénale, néphrite) et des diabètes dus aux effets suppresseurs synergiques du superoxyde de la combinaison.
