ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The assembly of the invention serves to indicate the level of liquid in a container. The assembly is made up of a funnel and a rod slideably mounted within a cylinder. The cylinder is mounted on the longitudinal axis of the funnel and is manually adjustable with respect to the funnel. A cork is connected to the lower end of the rod and is carried upwardly in the cylinder by the rising level of liquid within the container. The rod has four differently coloured bands. The colour of the band visible above the upper edge of the cylinder indicates the level of liquid within the contain er. The bands can be caused to indicate different levels of liquid by manual adjustment of the position of the cylind- er.
