13 Abstract of the Disclosure: A tray or table assembly is provided for a jewelry display. The jewelry display includes a vertical display panel and a base for supporting the display panel in a vertical position. The tray assembly is supported on the vertical display panel by conventional shelf brackets which are removably mounted to the display panel. The tray is hinged along a centerline so that it is foldable, and it has an elongated slot formed therein. The slot is slidably received over the display panel wherein the tray is slid downwardly over the display panel until it rests on top of the shelf brackets. An inclined work surface can be provided by using inclined shelf brackets. In this regard, the tray member hingeably pivots along its centerline so that it rests firmly on top of the inclined brackets.
