COMBINATION LIGHTING AND FILTERING UNIT FOR A CLEAN ROOM ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION A combination lighting and filtering unit adapted to be mounted in the ventilated ceiling structure of a clean room wherein clean air is directed downwardly into the interior of the room. The unit includes a flow-through light housing having a plurality of florescent light bulbs secured across its interior, sized to overlie and enclose one of a plurality of apertures provided in a mounting grid in the ceiling structure, and an interchangeable filter unit removably mounted in flow-through relation across the top of the housing which is also adapted to be mounted in the apertures on the grid.
