A combination lock having a housing, a shackle (14), a dial (13), a pushbutton (3), and a lock assembly. The lock assembly is made of a group of rotating disks (6, 7, 8, 9) having windows (25) that can be aligned to open the lock. When the dial (13) is turned according to the combination of the lock, the windows (25) become aligned so that the user can depress the pushbutton (3) to release the shackle (14). The pushbutton (3) travels in a direction that is perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the dial (13). When the shackle (14) is locked again, the pushbutton (3) returns to its original position. As the pushbutton (3) travels back to its original position, portions of the lock assembly are turned so that the combination must be reentered in order to reopen the lock.

L'invention concerne un cadenas à combinaison possédant un boîtier, une boucle (14), un cadran (13), un bouton poussoir (3) et un ensemble cadenas. Cet ensemble cadenas est constitué d'un groupe de disques tournants (6, 7, 8, 9) possédant des fenêtres (25) qui peuvent entre alignées en vue de l'ouverture du cadenas.
