A combination mouthpiece for inhalation therapy devices, having a body (1) defining an aerosol duct (2) through which, in use, a stream of air carrying an aerosolized drug is supplied to a patient during inspiration, an inlet hole (4) through the body for receiving in a releasable and secure manner an oxygen tube adapter (5), characterised by at least one partition (6) within the body (1) defining at least one oxygen duct (3), the oxygen duct being in a form such that it extends generally parallel with the aerosol duct (2) and has a flow cross-section sized in order to guide a suitably large oxygen stream from the oxygen tube adapter (5) through the inlet hole (4) to the patient.
L'invention concerne un embout multifonctionnel destiné à des dispositifs de traitement par inhalation. Cet embout comprend: un corps (1) définissant un conduit à aérosol (2) à travers lequel, lors de l'utilisation, un courant d'air transportant un médicament sous forme d'aérosol est acheminé au patient pendant l'inspiration; un orifice d'entrée (4) pratiqué à travers le corps de l'embout, servant à recevoir, de manière sûre et libérable, un adaptateur de tube à oxygène (5). Cet embout est caractérisé en ce qu'il présente au moins une séparation (6) dans le corps (1), définissant au moins un conduit à oxygène (3), ce dernier présentant une forme telle qu'il s'étend de manière sensiblement parallèle au conduit à aérosol (2) et présente une section transversale d'écoulement dimensionnée de façon à permettre d'acheminer au patient un flux d'oxygène suffisamment important, provenant de l'adaptateur de tube à oxygène (5), à travers l'orifice d'entrée (4).
