The invention relates to a combination which comprises a DPP-IV inhibitor and at least one further PPAR.alpha. compound, preferably selected from the group consisting of fenofibrate, micronized fenofibrate, bezafibrate, gemfibrazil and ciprofibrate for simultaneous, separate or sequential use in the prevention, delay of progression or treatment of conditions mediated by DPP-IV and PPAR.alpha., in particular diabetes, more especially type 2 diabetes mellitus, conditions of IGT, conditions of impaired fasting plasma glucose, metabolic acidosis, ketosis, arthritis, obesity, dyslipidemia and osteoporosis.
L'invention concerne une combinaison comprenant un inhibiteur de DPP-IV et au moins un autre composé PPAR.alpha., de préférence sélectionné dans le groupe contenant du fénofibrate, du fénofibrate micronisé, du bézafibrate, du gemfibrozil et du ciprofibrate pour une utilisation simultanée, séparée ou séquentielle pour prévenir, retarder la progression ou traiter des troubles médiés par DPP-IV et PPAR.alpha., en particulier les diabètes, notamment le diabète sucré de type 2, les troubles de diminution de tolérance au glucose, des troubles concernant une mauvaise fixation du glucose du plasma, l'acidose métabolique, la cétose, l'arthrose, l'obésité, la dyslipidémie et l'ostéoporose.
