The invention relates to medicaments that contain one or more compounds that inhibit the biological effects of TNF-.alpha. and CD95L, for example by blocking the binding of said ligands to their natural receptors, thereby blocking signal transduction. The preferred compounds are neutralizing anti- TNF.alpha. antibodies and neutralizing anti-CD95L antibodies. The invention further relates to the use of the inventive compounds for preventing or treating strokes or heart attacks.
L'invention concerne des médicaments contenant un ou plusieurs composés qui inhibent les effets biologiques de TNF-.alpha. et de CD95L, par exemple en bloquant la liaison de ces ligands avec leurs récepteurs naturels, empêchant ainsi la transduction de signaux. Lesdits composés sont de préférence un anticorps dirigé contre TNF-.alpha. et un anticorps dirigé contre CD95L. Ladite invention concerne en outre l'utilisation desdits composés pour la prévention ou le traitement de l'apoplexie cérébrale ou de l'infarctus du myocarde.
