A combination lock includes a lock body, a shackle axially moveable between a retracted position and an extended position, a locking mechanism, and a dial secured to the front side of the lock body. The locking mechanism is movable from a locked condition to an unlocked condition to permit movement of the shackle from the retracted position to the extended position. The dial includes an outer ring portion surrounding a stationary lock body face and rotatable with respect to the face, and a locking mechanism engaging portion disposed between the lock body face and the rear side of the lock body, wherein successive rotation of the dial to a series of one or more predetermined rotational positions causes the locking mechanism to move from the locked condition to the unlocked condition.
L'invention concerne une serrure à combinaison qui comporte un corps de serrure, une boucle d'attache axialement mobile entre une position rétractée et une position étendue, un mécanisme de verrouillage, et un cadran fixé sur le côté avant du corps de serrure. Le mécanisme de verrouillage, mobile d'un état fermé à un état déverrouillé, permet à la boucle d'attache de se déplacer de la position rétractée à la position étendue. Le cadran comporte une partie anneau extérieure entourant une face corps de serrure fixe et rotative par rapport à la face, et une partie en prise du mécanisme de verrouillage placée entre la face corps de serrure et son côté arrière; la rotation successive du cadran par rapport à une série d'une ou de plusieurs positions rotationnelles prédéterminées amène le mécanisme de verrouillage à se déplacer de l'état verrouillé à l'état déverrouillé.
