Abstract of the Disclosure A plough has a wing provided with both a steel share and a rubber share. The rubber share is movable between an operative position, in which it is disposed below the steel share so as to contact a road surface and support the plough, and a retracted position in which the steel share is in an operative position disposed with its lower edge just above and out of contact with the road surface and in which the plough is supported by wheels or slides which are disposed rearwardly of the shares and which contact the road surface when the rubber share is retracted. The shares can each comprise a plurality of sections pivotable to clear obstacles.
