An electric oven includes a cabinet within which is arranged an oven cavity. Arranged below a bottom portion of the oven cavity is a combination convection/radiant bake cooking system adapted to derive heat energy from a single heat source. The oven preferably includes a central opening in the bottom portion within which is arranged a glass panel. Arranged about a periphery of the central opening are a plurality of vented openings adapted to introduce a convection airflow into the oven cavity. The glass panel provides both a conductive heat surface transmitting radiant heat energy into the oven cavity and a viewing surface allowing a consumer to view the operation of the heat source.
Un système de cuisson électrique comprend un cabinet dans lequel est disposée une cavité de four. Disposés en dessous d'une partie inférieure de la cavité du four est une combinaison de système de cuisson à convection/à rayonnement adaptée pour tirer de l'énergie thermique provenant d'une source de chaleur unique. Le four comprend de préférence une ouverture centrale dans la partie inférieure dans laquelle est disposé un panneau de verre. Disposées autour d'une périphérie de l'ouverture centrale sont une pluralité d'ouvertures ventilées adaptées pour introduire un flux d'air à convection dans la cavité du four. Le panneau de verre prévoit à la fois une surface de chaleur par conduction transmettant de l'énergie de chaleur rayonnante dans la cavité du four et une surface de visionnement qui permet au consommateur d'observer le fonctionnement de la source de chaleur.
