A wound care bandage (10) for treating a wound (12) is provided. The bandage (10) includes an SIS layer (14) to be placed on the wound surface (16) and a cover (18) to be placed over the wound (12). The bandage (10) further includes a structure (20) to provide a vacuum space (22). A method for promoting wound healing is further provided. The method includes applying the above-mentioned wound care bandage (10) to the wound (12) and creating a vacuum in the vacuum space (22) to draw blood controllably from the wound (12) into the SIS layer (14).
L'invention concerne un pansement de protection des plaies (10) destiné à traiter une plaie (12). Le pansement (10) comprend une couche SIS (sous-muqueuse de l'intestin grêle) (14) à placer sur la surface de la plaie (16) et une enveloppe (18) à placer au-dessus de la plaie (12). Le pansement (10) comporte également une structure (20) permettant de créer un espace sous vide (22). L'invention concerne également un procédé permettant d'accélérer la guérison de la plaie, qui consiste à appliquer le pansement précité (10) sur la plaie (12) et à créer un vide dans ledit espace (22) pour extraire du sang, de manière régulée, de la plaie (12) vers la couche SIS (14).
