"COMBINATION SPONGE AND SQUEEGEE ASSEMBLY" ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION A plastic rectangular base with a handle attach- ing portion extending from one side thereof includes a plurality of projections and pins on the other side and near one edge thereof and an angulated rib near the other edge thereof to hold a substantially rectangular cross section piece of sponge like material and a preformed strip of rubber squeegee material respectively when a plastic rectangular upper panel is clamped superposed relationship upon the base with the sponge rubber and a squeegee held therebetween. The cover includes projections and pins adjacent one edge thereof and an angulated rib adjacent the other edge therof which cooperate with the similar parts on the base to prevent the sponge rubber from becoming displaced when used and squeegee from moving sideways when used.
