La présente invention concerne des compositions comprenant la combinaison dun biocide à activité membranaire et un second agent choisi dans le groupe constitué des fluoroquinolones, des ammoglycodies, des ß-lactames, des antibiotiques glycopeptides, des sulfonamides et des azoles antifongiques et leur utilisation dans le traitement ou la prévention des infections bactériennes ou fongiques. Les biocides à activité membranaire préférés seront choisis dans le groupe constitué de la chlorohexidine, de la polymyxine B-nonapeptide, de la bacitracine, de laztréoname, des sels de benzlakomum et des chélateurs métalliques.
