The invention relates to a method for the treatment of a cancer involving a solid tumour in a warm-blooded animal such as a human, which comprises administering to said animal an effective amount of ZD6126 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, before, after or simultaneously with an effective amount of ZD1839 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and before, after or simultaneously with an effective amount of ionising radiation. The invention also relates to the use of ZD6126 and ZD1839 in the manufacture of a medicament for use in the production of an anti-cancer effect in a warm-blooded animal such as a human and to pharmaceutical compositions and kits each comprising ZD6126 and ZD1839.
L'invention concerne une méthode de traitement d'un cancer à tumeur solide chez un animal à sang chaud, tel qu'un humain. Cette méthode consiste à administrer à cet animal une quantité efficace de ZD6126 ou d'un sel pharmaceutiquement acceptable de ce dernier, avant, après ou simultanément à l'administration d'une quantité efficace de ZD1839 ou d'un sel pharmaceutiquement acceptable de ce dernier et avant, après ou simultanément à l'exposition à une quantité efficace de rayonnement ionisant. Cette invention concerne également l'utilisation de ZD6126 et ZD1839 dans la fabrication d'un médicament utilisé pour produire un effet anticancéreux chez un animal à sang chaud, tel qu'un humain, ainsi que des compositions et trousses pharmaceutiques contenant ZD6126 et ZD1839.
