Disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition (or medicine) for treating migraine in a mammal, including a human, which comprises (1) a 5HT1 receptor agonist, (2) caffeine and (3) a cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor. The COX-2 inhibitor is a compound of the formula (I): (see formula I) (wherein R1 is sulfamyl, R2 is haloalkyl, R3 is hydrogen or alkyl and R4 is aryl, cycloalkyl or cycloalkenyl, each optionally substituted) or a compound of the formula (II): (see formula II (wherein R1 is alkyl, carboxyalkyl or the like, R3 is cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl or aryl, each optionally substituted and R4 is alkyl, hydroxyl or amino).
