The subject invention provides a method of treating a subject afflicted with a form of multiple sclerosis comprising periodically administering to the subject an amount of glatiramer acetate and an amount of rasagiline or the pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein the amounts when taken together are effective to alleviate a symptom of the form of multiple sclerosis in the subject so as to thereby treat the subject. The subject invention also provides a package comprising glatiramer acetate, rasagiline or the pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and instructions for use of the together to alleviate a symptom of a form of multiple sclerosis in a subject. The subject invention further provides a pharmaceutical combination comprising separate dosage forms of an amount of glatiramer acetate and an amount of rasagiline or the pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, which combination is useful to alleviate a symptom of a form of multiple sclerosis in a subject.
L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement d'un sujet atteint d'une forme de sclérose en plaques qui consiste à administrer de façon périodique au sujet une quantité d'acétate de glatiramère et une quantité de rasagiline ou un sel de ceux-ci acceptable sur le plan pharmaceutique, les quantités lorsqu'elles sont prises ensemble étant efficaces afin de soulager un symptôme de la forme de sclérose en plaques chez le sujet en vue de le traiter. Cette invention concerne également un emballage contenant de l'acétate de glatiramère, de la rasagiline ou un sel de ceux-ci acceptables sur le plan pharmaceutique et un mode d'emploi de l'ensemble afin de soulager un symptôme d'une forme de sclérose en plaques chez un sujet. L'invention concerne enfin une combinaison pharmaceutique contenant des formes posologiques séparées d'une quantité d'acétate de glatiramère et d'une quantité de rasagiline ou de sel de ceux-ci acceptables sur le plan pharmaceutique, cette combinaison étant utile afin de soulager un symptôme d'une forme de sclérose en plaques chez un sujet.
