ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An oil seal assembly including an oil seal unit having a cylindrical mounting flange and a radial flange and a primary seal lip body bonded to the radial flange, the seal unit co-operating with an excluder unit also having a cylindrical part and a radial flange. A sleeve is bonded to the outside of the cylindrical part and receives a shaft in sealing engagement with its inner surface. The outer surface of the cylindrical part of the excluder unit engages the primary seal lip body, and the excluder unit also has a lip extending outwardly and partially axially from the radial flange thereof to engage the radial flange of the oil seal unit.
