ABSTRACT A weighing system having a processed readout comprising: a scale for receiving a quantity of product to be weighed and including a weight sensor producing an output signal corresponding to the weight of the product received; and signal averaging means connected with the scale to receive the output signal and having means for sampling the signal multiple times during a sampling period, adding means for summing the signal samples and obtaining a sample sum, and means for dividing the sample sum to obtain the average signal.
